A Journey Shared with our Customers
As parents, we understand the endless cost of clothing growing children. We also share in the frustration of having just bought something really nice, often at great expense, only to find within a short time that it no longer fits!
In 2010, we created Cath’s Preloved Clothing on Facebook to give the parents and carers we knew a convenient way to access more affordable and sustainably sourced clothes. Since then we’ve helped countless customers from across the country save time and money.
In 2013, we broadened our product range to include children’s books, and in 2023, we launched Kids Preloved Central – our website dedicated to providing sustainably sourced children’s clothes and books at affordable prices.
At Kids Preloved Central, it’s even easier then ever for you to find what you’re looking for with our comprehensive product categories and shop filters. The only thing which hasn’t changed, is the service which our customers have come to know and trust.

In our grandmother’s day they had a saying: “Waste not, want not.” In our mother’s day they had a saying too: “Make do and mend.” Upon commencing high school, mum was the very grateful recipient of a hand-me-down bicycle from an older sister. For her it meant not walking the three miles to school!
We’re founded on the philosophy of “Waste not, want not.” If you don’t waste anything, you will always have what you need. Being mindful of the resources we use now, will help us avoid shortages in the future.

Preloved Shopping Upsized
We stock large quantities of preloved products for immediate delivery!
We offer a wide range of new-old-stock and preloved children’s clothes for all seasons, in sizes one to sixteen. Accessories include beanies, hats and scarves. Activewear, dancewear and footwear is also offered. We stock licensed brands such as AFL, Disney, Harry Potter, Marvel and Star Wars. Surf brands include Billabong, Quiksilver, Rip Curl and Roxy. Generic schoolwear is offered, so too is specific attire for Ballarat High School. Our collection of sleepwear, swimwear, socks and underwear is also worth a look.
A broad selection of fiction and non-fiction books is in constant supply. These include activity books, board books, early learning books, levelled readers, picture story books, junior and senior novels; also educational and reference books on just about any topic you care to imagine.
We also stock costumes, DVDs, games and toys in limited numbers.
