The eleven rooms of the house, plus the garden are filled with people, pets, hidden presents, toys, and other surprises hiding under flaps and peering from their hiding places.  How many of them will you find!

The original press-out card characters of Annabel and her household are missing, but there’s still plenty to see and do with this book.  You can make up your own story behind the objects you find tucked away, out of sight!

About Anabel and the House

If you ask, Anabel will tell you that she shares the house with her brother Tom, some cats and a dog, two tortoises, a parrot, mummy and daddy, Sarah the housemaid, the cook, Joseph the gardener plus nanny and her baby sister.

It’s Annabel’s birthday and mummy has hidden her presents all over the house.  Will you help Annabel find them?  There are many hiding places, and they all have to be thoroughly searched, top-to-bottom.  With lots to explore in Annabel’s house, you never know what you’re going to find, or miss!

There’s a visual story to follow, with surprises and even a mystery.  Who belongs to the legs we can see just disappearing out of sight as we roam through the house?

You can make your own story too!  Who do you think is catching butterflies in the garden?  Is it Tom, Joseph or someone else?
