Description
Horatio’s Bed
By Camilla Ashforth
Horatio, the rabbit, cannot sleep. All night long he tosses and turns, wriggles and rolls, but he just cannot get comfortable. So he goes to see his friend, a bear called James. What Horatio needs is a bed, says James. So he takes a sheet of paper from his Useful Box and starts, very carefully, to draw a bed. It is a big square with a leg at each corner. James draws another bed…and another one…and another…but how is all this drawing supposed to help little Horatio?
Camilla Ashforth’s first picture book is a warm, satisfying and exquisitely illustrated story of friendship between two very different characters – one small, one big – each, in his own way, quite adorable.
